Mall of the South in collaboration with Mondeor SAPS and Mondeor Jnr Station Commissioners, visited High Schools in Joburg South to deliver insightful peer talks to Grade 8 learners as they kick off the 2024 academic year & their high school journey. The Peer to Peer School Roadshows commenced on Tuesday, 16 January with visits to Mondoer High School, Kibler Park Secondary School , Elethu Themba Public School and Glenvista High. Our focus was on addressing key issues like Peer Pressure, Substance Abuse, and Anti-Bullying to equip our youth with knowledge that empowers them to make informed choices and foster a safe and supportive environment. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making this initiative a success! Together, we're building a stronger, more informed community.

In the spirit of spreading joy and giving back to the community, Mall of the South partnered with SOJO Business and Tourism to host a heartwarming Christmas party for the residents of Resthaven. The event took place at the vibrant 21 Jump Street within the mall on December 5, 2023. The generosity extended beyond the event with each of the residents receiving special Christmas gifts from the Center Management team, SOJO and Mall contractors, Stallion Security, Bidvest Prestige. In addition, Mall tenants Sorbet sponsored pamper gifts for the elderly ladies, 21 Jump Street provided free play for the children, while Spur, Piatto, and Wimpy sponsored a delicious lunch for all attendees. A heartfelt thank you to our partners and Mall tenants who contributed to making this special day a memorable one for the residents.
