Mall of the South gave shoppers a reason to celebrate Valentine's Day by entering the adventurous wonders of love with Lara Travel International.
From 29 January to 18 February 2018, shoppers had to spend R250.00 or more at any Mall of the South store and stood a chance of winning one of two weekend getaways to Vrisch Gewagt Boutique Olive Farm valued at R38 000.00.

Mall of the South hosted a day of style and fun at their first Kids of the South fashion event that took place on the 30th of September 2017 in the Platinum Court.
In acknowledgement of Mandela Day, Mall of the South Centre Management, South of Jo'burg Business & Tourism (SOJO) and Howden hosted a blanket drive and challenged the community to contribute towards this worthy cause. Over 300 blankets were collected and distributed to the school. Bargain Books donated over R3500 worth of reading books, which will be added to the School's library collection.
Nicky Vakaloudis, SOJO CEO said, "The day was filled with fun activities which including, a lively song and dance performed in the school hall, followed by an education session on burn awareness done by the National Burn Association of South Africa (NBASA). Some children participated in the painting of Madiba silhouettes and messages on posters while others, together with their teachers, painted the rusted palisade fence which separates the Grade R area from the rest of the school".
